I have a 85 ramchager that I pulled the engine and trans out of becase they were bad and put in good ones out of a 83 pickup it now has a 318 ans an auto tans(not sure witch one) and it wont move it runs fine and it drove before we made the swap it has enough tranny fluid and the lincage is hooked up properly and now when you take it out of park it acts like it is in neutral all the time any thoughts

If it worked fine before the swap then something has to be out of adjustment or not bolted up. Did you have the motor and trans seperated at any time before the swap? If it was did you make sure that the torque conv. was properly seated in the pump?

Have you checked the TV cable to make sure it is not holding the valve in the kickdown position?

That was my thought also. It not the front pump suffers pretty bad.
