Trans slips shifting to second

02 Dodge van 1500 auto trans slips when cold shifting to second gear Shifts fine once it is warmed up Anyone know what causes this The fluid and filter have been just changed

Does it SLIP or just a realsoft shift?

I had 3 auto transmissions go bad on various vehicles and cold slipping was the first symptom. If it is actually slipping, it will probably get worse pretty fast. Take to the dealer or transmisson shop and ask them.
