Whats up guys, I have a 96 ram ext cab 1500 4x4 and the tranny is done at 153 thousand. I've been trying to decide what route to take with getting a new one or getting it rebuilt. From what I've read, I'm leaning towards getting a new one with all the horror stories I've heard about rebuilds not working properly and or going bad again.
I would like to get a Dr.evil tranny but they are kinda pricey...but on the other hand heard a lot of good reports on them.
So I guess my question is, what are your suggestions on which remanufactured companys are worth it and reasonable. Or can I rebuild my tranny by choosing the right componets and a good builder.
