here is my latest to do list for the truck. just looking for input i guess. Let me know if i should change, add, or delete anything...


. install 180 t-stat
. replace bushings
. replace rack and pinion
. solve problem with leaks above rack and pinion
. get gears and diff installed
. fix paint and dents
. bedrug
. fiberglass bed cover (with spoiler?)
. leather wrap seats and modify dash (carbon fiber dash parts?)
. custom center console with shifter relocation (gauge pod)
. custom door panels (carbon fiber gallardo style?)
. higher mph gauge cluster
. install 4th gen steering wheel (if its possible)
. carbon fiber Venom hood
. powdercoat calipers
. buy mounting brackets from AirRam
. buy lower intake manifold for 02-03 cobra
. buy eaton m112
. have supercharger assembly installed along with aftercooler system
. install 2800 stall converter
. rebuild engine with new pistons, rods, lifters, valves, and valve springs
. reconfigure supercharger for more boost
. wet direct injection nitrous
. larger cams
. modify exhaust
. underdrive pulley
. racing slicks for rear
. GO TO TRACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

total cost? probably 15k or somewhere around there
im thinking of getting a either a challenger, camaro, or 5.0 some day anyway and making this truck my project. its my first truck so i probably wont ever sell it. its worth more to me to keep around

-180 t-stat is in

Honestly, before you throw all those performance mods at a 4.7, I'd swap in a hemi. It's good for about as much hp as the rest of the performance mods you listed, and then you can stack the supercharger, cam, etc. on the hemi.

ok list just got a lot shorter!!!! (simpler too) but not necessarily cheaper unfortunately...

ceri - i have seriously thought about the 6.1 idea but thats a lot of work, plus i like the idea of a smaller lightweight engine. swapping an engine would definitely give me more power but i just dont feel like messing with it to be honest
