I am looking into getting a throttle body for my 97 360. The mods to the motor are going to be as follows:

Hypertech programmer
Modified stock intake with runners and the center divider cut down
1.7 roller rockers
Headers
Full exhaust (Magnaflow high flow cat, flowmaster cat back)

My intention for this truck is primarily towing. With that in mind I want to keep torque in mind.

Should I go with a 50mm or a 52mm throttle body?
What is the real difference between a fastman throttle body and say a Hughes ported?
What stuff should I look out for when selecting a modified throttle body?

Thanks in advance in your advice.

the attention to detail of smoothing off all the edges of the bore to ensure smooth flow and minimal turbulence.

the main difference between hughes and Dan's is the price...
Dan makes quality products, I doubt you will find any negative feed back about his throttle bodies.
That said, I would say 50mm if you are looking for torque.
I tow with my 5.2 with a 52mm...basically the same off the line performance as the stock unit. It doesn't start to really flow until about 2300 rpms, but it'll still pull a 2 ton trailer fully loaded, or 1800 lbs of dirt in the bed no problem.

I would get a flash before I get a Hypertech, had one and they are junk IMO.
