The on-post new car sales had an Inferno Red '06 R/T with 63 miles on it yesterday - just begging me for a flogging on Autobahn 3.
I put about 45 miles on the odometer yesterday, most of it over 100 mph.
After an hour to reposition the cars, I was in business, all I have to say is "sign me up" :rck: Car was very fast, solid on the rough side streets, and cruised at 122 mph with no problems.
I priced one with the Road and Track option as I felt the all season Continentals on the regular R/T didn't provide enough cornering grip of summer autobahn speeds and that option is only $1600 - probably well worth the price when factoring in the other items with that package (heated seats, 10 extra hp, etc).
Unfortunately, all the R/Ts coming into Germany for US sales will be the regular R/Ts and I would have to special order the Road and Track package, about a 4 month wait for overseas shipping.
Regardless - it was a great drive.
