Wanting to level my new toy a 2002 1500 QC 4x4 .Reading posts on here ,sounds like alot of people just crank up torsion bar adjusters, others buy the torsion keys from Truxxx, Readylift etc. If the torsion bar stays in the same position in front what is the difference,other than a flatter mating surface to the adjustment bolt ? Or do the kits change the front mnt. somehow?

Crank up the bars and then get the front end aligned. You may need some new shocks either way depending on how high you go, but save your self some money and don't get the keys. You don't need them.

mine are cranked and ive ridden in a truck with ready lift keys...cant tell the difference

i had the stock stuff cranked, with aftermarket Bilstein shocks upfront, and the ride was hARSH, now i have ReadyLift Keys with Procomp shocks upfront ,and the ride is awesome on and offroad, im not the only one that has went this route, and like it much better than cranking the stock stuff.
