What's Up All:
Been having some issues with my e-fan(blackmax 180 extreme). It's not kickin on, and I have found out that the controller needs replacement. So, I tried to hook up a switch for a bypass and it works, but if I run the fan with direct power(to battery), it runs at full speed, but if I hook it to a switch, it runs just ever so slightly slower. I need to have a switch hooked up for tomarrow cuz the wife needs her car at the same time I need the truck for the doctor. Why does the fan run slower from the switch? Is it the wiring or what? Any suggestions?

Considerably more resistance in the wire path through the switch. The switch probably isn't rated high enough for the load, either. What gauge wire did you use?
