So for some weird ass reason my truck is now randomly doing quick surges during driving at low rpms. if im around 2k rpms it kind of sputters and kicks a little bit. Then the surge starts but if I give it gas it goes away as I get into higher RPM's any clues?

Mine did that when the idle sensor has dirty and the bore was full of crap. The idle was all over the place and the lower speeds were just as random.

Check for vacuum leaks.
Any hints on how to do that? I heard carb cleaner and just spray on the vacuum lines till you hear the motor rev? Thinking that might be a little dangerous lol

Some carb cleaners can damage plastic. I use WD-40 or the old vacuum hose trick by put one end in your ear and then use the open end to search for the leak.
