I have a 99 diesel that seems to lock then almost immediately unlock the TC at 55 and up. Change in rpm is only about 200 according to the tach. I found no codes stored. Any ideas??

Seems like I read once that the Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor (APPS) can cause this problem with auto. trans. Dodges.
To reset the APPS, disconnect the batteries for 30 minutes, re-connect the batteries, turn the keyswitch ON, slowly mash the accellerator pedal to the floor then slowly release. Turn the keyswitch off then start the motor and test drive(my favorite part).

If it keeps doing it it's is your TPS (throttle position sensor).
I had the same thing on a 95 cummins and just fixed it.

Good and bad news mine was $175 I hear that newer ones are called a ring sensor? or something similar and run 4-$500, hope yours isn't that.

I had the problem with the torque converter unlocking, and locking. I ran a wire from the negitive battery post, to the TPS ground wire (it's black/light blue) And haven't had a problem with it since.
