yes it come with the instructions it is really easy to use I have noticed a big difference when promgramed lot better then stock . You can set shift points there is a 87 octane performance tune a 91 octane and a tow tune also will will remove speed limiter can set redline and also reads trouble codes also 1/4 mile 0-30 0-60 1/8 mile 0-40 0-50 times also it stores the times an mph I think it is well worth it you can feel the difference . Hope I explained it if and when i get another truck I wil buy another one
