What is it, when you program your truck to run on 87 octane and you get about 15 mpg but when you program your truck to run on 91 octane performance you get about 17 to 18 mpg.

If you drive with a light foot when making more power, you actually use less throttle. Less throttle = better MPG.

I think that could be it because it seem like when I have it set on 91 octane
performance it get up and go so I don't have to get on it as much,but when I have it on 87 octane it seem like that I have to get on it a little more.I will do a over all test on this so I can get the same mpg on both.
