Hey guys,

So today I started up my truck, and my gas light goes on while my fuel level claims it is at empty. My tank was almost completely full. Then about 5 seconds later, the gauge slowly goes up and the gas light goes out. The gauge returned to full. This has never happened. My truck was sitting in the sun for a few hours, about 90 degrees out. Is there another sensor that may be going out...I've replaced almost every sensor in this truck, so I won't be surprised if there is. Has this happened to anyone else?

My wild guess is that the gauge was stuck for that short time and corrected itself in a moment. If it happens again and more often then I believe you should have it replaced.
