Do we need to start up a 4th Gen section for the 06's?

Most of the parts are the same. Just like the 2002 1500's have different motor options, steering wheels, transmission (O/D disable vs Tow/Haul), etc but they are still the same Gen.

02-07 are still DR body style.Fall of 08 with be 4th G unless they continue with this facelift if other problems arise.

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight! the 06 with the MDS and only 4 cylinders active will take an 05 Hemi any day......LOL J/K

I am curious what the #s for mds vs. non-mds rams will be. I guess we will know soon. Lots of people might be scooping up 05s at the end of the year.

A vehicle is classified as a new generation vehicle when it is redesigned from the frame up. A few changes to some sheet metal and plastic interior parts do not constitute a new generation.
