Started out last spring during cool weather squealing and not engaging first few trys, then would finally take hold. I got through the summer OK, now have changed solenoid contacts and plunger, put in new clutch or "bendix". Now it will not engage first few trys, and when it does, everything works fine! Motor runs OK, just doesn't engage. Any help or ideas will be appreciated. Check my post in diesel talk. ===Fred===
