HI,

Hello, re-creating a new post since my other post is closed with updates.

2000 Dodge Durango 4.7L Full time 4x4
Transmission type 45RME.

Recently again, while cruising down the highway, not accelerating nor decelerating, in it's 4th gear, my Durango suddenly bucks, pops, jerks, jumps (insert best adjective here) ONCE for a split second while in gear (not in between usual shifting up or down). Almost like someone suddenly jams the brakes and let or felt like I it a pothole. This seems to happen once every few months with longest about 9 months without issues.

I believe I saw the rpm go down about 200-300rpm, but not sure. Then all is normal again. I did not do anything to make it to downshift or anything. Shifts up/down fine, Idles fine, drives fine otherwise. Seems to happen at any gear, I believe happened to me in 2 gear, 3 gear, and 4th. I am not thinking this is engine related because I can hear the whole drive train lock up for that split second.

I have also replaced cam, crankshaft, both front and rear trans speed sensors, TPS, Idle control valve, Trans fluid has been changed.

Hope someone toss ideas my way! I'm almost sure the dealer will tell me there's nothing wrong as there no codes at all.

Thanks,
Mike
