Please help me get the CORRECT speedo cable for my 1988 B150 van. The cable that the books list from Autozone, Parks Auto, o'Reilly's, is the wrong cable. The fittings are the wrong size. The end of the cable that attaches to the speed sensor is threaded on the outside, which is correct, but the threaded part is much too large for the vss nut to screw onto. The other end of the cable that attaches to the speedometer gear in the tranny is a nut, which is also correct, but the nut is much too small to screw onto the gear. I'm at a loss here. Please help.

Try here and see if they can get you what you need.

It will not let me take you to the direct page, you will need to click on Dodge, 1988, B150, engine size, body interior and finally speedometer cable. they have 4 choices to chose from.

Of course if your prefer to use the main catalog you can do that too. After you go through the menus and get to the final pop-up window with the parts listed on it, click the "Save My Place" floppy disk icon over to the right. In the new window that pops open, right click the link and select copy shortcut. Now you can paste the link into your message and when someone clicks it they'll see pop-up window that you saw.
