Having a problem. Just had a Kenwood Navigation system installed the 4100 series. Can't find the speed control wire in this truck. They've tried everything, Kenwood doesn't know.... Dodge dealer says it can't be done because there is no speed sensor wire in this truck. They said it uses the anti lock brack control for the speed sensor. Is this true? Is there no way to connect to the speed sensor?
Any help would be great

Find a manual with the wiring pin-outs listed in it. I would imagine the transmission has a vehicle speed sensor on it somewhere though. I just installed an electric cruise control on my SRT-4 and found the VSS wire via the PCM pin-out listing in the manual.

Find a better shop do the instal. I have the Kenwood 4100 Navigation and it works like a champ. Can't tell ya where anything is connected but I know that it is possible to do. Find another shop that does Kenwood stuff and ask them.
