I have a '06 ctd Laramie package.

It has an amfm stereo and sirus digital radio, 7 infinity speakers. No mods from stock at this point.

I was reading in the service manual about what looks to be wiring in place to connect an amplifier that would sit under the middle seat cargo area. Was wondering if anyone has this installed and how it works or if you installed one using the existing wiring.

I think that is where your Infinity amp is...

Nope the amp for the infinity is up above the glove box. The wires you may be looking at are the wires for the sub woofer that comes in srt10

Interesting. I've got an amp in that exact spot, but my stock stereo was not the infinity and sounded like crap.
