You will find a significant amount of info on fitting bigger tires in the first few threads of the Gen 1 Durango tires/wheels/suspension forum.

12.5" tires are a bit wide to easily fit. You will need new wheels with less backspacing to move the rubber outward away from the frame rub that is common with tires 11.5" wide and aboe.

Lowering your backspacing will increase your width (track) and lower your turning radius.

8.5" width on the wheel is fine. You have to compare the backspacing of those wheels to stock to see where the tire will sit. You then will be able to calcalate the width that will fit and see if you are willing to increase your turning radius if less backspacing is needed to clear the extra wide tires.

Chivoman, Did you get any more info or pics on 33/12.50/20's? I was always planning on 32-33" on 18's but was wondering how 20's would look. Too street like versus 4x4 looking. I have the T/S and body lift on already so I'm just waiting for my current tires to wear out.
