i originally had this posted in the interior/exterior but i need some input asap... sorry...

well i got our mechanic to check my durango yesterday... he said i might have to get the ball joint lubed... and then another thing i noticed was that my steering wheel is really really squeaking inside... i can really hear it... what can i do with this?

also, i have another problem that i noticed today... my engine light is lighting up on my gauge, my car is a 2000 and the mileage is up to 70,200... this means i need a tune up right? is it a major one? and how much will this cost?

let me know guys... thanks!

wow i actually changed my plans.... on my way to autozone, i was thinking that i might not be able to decode it because im not that good yet in doing this like this... before autozone, i saw an auto shop and went in to check if they can decode engine lights... well i did it there and they charged me $45 which isnt bad since it was gonna be a lot more accurate than me. i found out that it is a POWER STEERING SWITCH FAILURE. i told them to turn the light off so i can monitor it. well to find out if it happens again, i have to drive 40mph for 30 straight seconds or more. every since i decoded it, the squeaking in the steering wheel disappeared. i already called dodge and pre-ordered the switch for around $30. im going to monitor it for the next few days so i know if im gonna change it or not.
