sensor ???

I'm getting code p0161 which is 2/2 o2 sensor heater failure. Can some tell me where this sensor is located? diagram would help?? Also where does one do an ohm test on that as well ? Thanks :help:The truck is a 2001 dakota 3.9l sport 4x4

Before the y-pipe directly under the cab. There's one in front of and one behind each of the cats in the downpipes. If you go to autozone.com and search for the sensors they have a diagram. Although it will tell you they are in a different location, the computer is probably wrong. It was at the Zone, anyway. Kyle
I'm pretty sure that's the same code I pulled on the wife's 01 dakota. She has the 4.7L which has O2 sensors before and after each cat on the Y-pipe, but I'd imagine that the 3.9 is set up the same way. Anywho, it was the sensor after the cat on the passenger side. You can only get the sensor from the dealer and it runs $80+ dollars. Make sure to pick up an O2 socket for the wrench and a thread chase as well as a bottle of blaster.
