Royal Purple Slick 50 and Oil Questions??

Ok I have read about Royal Purple and I think I am going to give it a shot.
My question is what kind do i need to use?
5w-30 or 10w-30
**Note I live in FL and it gets over 100 at times.**

Also I want to a Slick 50 Treatment.
Should I wait and do it with my next oil change or throw it in with the RP?

How many Quarts does a 5.7 take?

Do believe it's 7 quarts of oil and I wouldn't recommend the slick 50.

Slick 50 = snake oil

It does absolutely nothing. A good quality oil is all you need.

It's funny how they call it Slick 50, a slick way for them to make $50!!!!

Oh yeah, 5W-30 is fine.

I heard that some of those additives have things like teflon and other crap in them that does not belong in an engine.
You cannot do better than the big 3 IMHO; Mobil 1, Royal Purple,Amsoil.

If anything I would've cleaned my engine with amsoil engine cleaner first. RP good brand.
