OK guys...having a little issue I can't pin down here.

On my 2002 1500 Quad Cab, I have a roar, not a LOUD roar, just a slight roar that seems to start at above 35 or 40 mph. I'm thinking it is a front hub assembly, but I was reading about rear axle failure, and wanted to double check that with you guys.

I can't discern any change in the pitch of the noise either on power, cruising, or coasting.

The truck has 155,000 miles on it, with an open 3.55 axle, and running somewhat worn Michelin LTX A/S tires. I haven't had a truck in many years, so I don't know if this is a normal roar I am hearing, or if I need to investigate the front or back end of the truck.

My normal car is a '97 Grand Marquis, and it's as quiet as a church mouse, but then again, it's not a truck.

Thanks in advance!
Tim
