I was wondering what the best way was to remove the plastic rivets holding the grill in, and if they can be reused or have to be replaced?

Im trying to paint my grill but dont want to get started and then not be able to put the grill back in because I didnt get any rivets

There is a "pin" in the center of the "rivet" that you can just push through towards the front. Make sure you either catch the pins when they push through, or make sure you notice where they go so you can retrieve them. Once the pin is pushed through, the rivet will pull right out.

I learned this the hard way after I figured the rivets should only be a few cents a piece at the dealer, so I broke them off. I wound up spending almost 40 bucks at the stealership for new ones. Then I found out about pushing the pins out. :whackit:
