[Grey Ghost]

I was wondering if I shouldn't replace my 180 degree thermostat with a 195 like was installed at the factory. My reasons for doing so are Winter coming on, and one of the techs at my local Dodge shop told me that 180s cause a higher consumption of fuel because the computer never sees the engine as being warmed up. I have an electric radiator fan, so I might have to change out it's temp sensor as well.
What do y'all think? :huh:

With regards to the electric fan, I have one in my truck and from about late September to middle of March it never comes on. Unless you have yours set to come on at a really low temperature, I personally wouldn't touch it.
