Hi, I think I just had a front hub ratchet out on my '91 Ram250 3/4 ton.
Problem is that I bought a chilton manual and it says to refer to another manual to deal with the hubs. What is this bs?
Anyone know where can I get a manual that has everything from the start?
I live in rural Alaska, off the road system, so I have to do all my work myself.
I am sick of this. I was replacing the front wheel bearings on my girlfriends omni and the manual said to take it to a dealer because special tools are needed. I figured it out, but what a load of bs.
Thanks in advance for any reply, Neil.

Welcome to DT.

I suggest you scour Ebay for a factory manual. Those Haynes or Chiltons manuals are good for the casual mechanic, but nothing beats the factory book. I have them for my vans and love them.
