I found a heck of a deal on a Leer tonneau locally. However, it's red and my 1500 is white. I would need to strip it and repaint it. Is this something I could do in my driveway or best left for professionals? Any pointers or FAQs would be appreciated.

Fiberglass painting is best left to the pro's. I think without the correct tools for painting, a rattle can will not give you the results you'd like.

I think if I were you I would leave it up to the pros unless your a good body shop man! But if your asking for pointers I guess your not! Take it to a body shop if you really got a good buy on it!

I found somewhere locally that says they can match my truck for $275. Sounds reasonable. $550 total for a Leer 700. :rck:
