Made it up to Red River today with some friends. Last time I was there it was in the summer. I cut a 14.780 @ 92.92mph in 95 heat.

Today I cut a 14.485 @ 94.49mph. I figure not bad for a QC 4x4 on stock 20's. Short Belt helped out a good bit. I have the basic mods, 6.1 cam, Pacesetter LT's, SC, Exhaust, No Cats, Intake, Shorty Wires, 180 T-stat. Not a bad time for a Fat Girl QC 4x4. Im .486 away from 13's.

That's really impressive with those mods especially with a 2.2 60ft get that down and you will be even closer to 13's.. what was the weather like out there today?

The temp was in the 70's. I dont know the exact track conditions. I bet with some weight reduction I can pull it off.

What kind of intake are you running?

Zomk speed racing intake, complete with duck tape. $68 bones. My bracket broke that mounts to the right side of the truck and tore a hole in the intake. So I put metal tape and duck tape on it.

Left the filter in. Last time at the track I did bookoo weight reduction, this time I had 3/4 tank of gas and dropped the tailgate and spare. That run was a 4x4 launch. I figured out today I got that time probaly due to a cold engine and a shallow stage. The rest of my stages where deep, due to lack of experience. Now I know to stage shallow and take advantage of that 6 inches of roll.
