rear seat stuck on a 01 qc anyone no how to get it open?

Push on it, lift the handle then pull........
That used to work for mine, now I lift the handle and push and pull until it eventually comes open. I've checked linkage and all with no evident problems, and lubed moving parts but it still is a pain in the .....

do you have the storage box under the seat is it unlocked?
