Rear main Oil Seal on 98 Ram 1500 /w318

Can anyone tell me if the rear main oil seal on the 98 Ram 1500 PU with a 318 has a one piece rear main oil seal or do you have to loosen the crank to put in a two piece?

What is involved in changing the rear main oil seal on 98 Ram PU with 318

Can you change the rear main oil seal on the 98 1500 Ram PU with a 138, without having to pull the auto trans?

Since it is a two piece, is it like the old Chevy's where you can roll it around the crank on the top and just remove the crank caps to pull it down.

Any help? I want to know how much is involved since this belongs to a friend.
