does anyone know if its possible to race in 4x4 ? if so 4high or 4 low? what can happen if i do race on 4x4? & has anyone done it? :help:

I use my 4x4 for launches and shift out just before 60mph. I wouldn't recommend racing a 1/4 in 4x4 the whole way. You got a slip for that 13.2 @ 91mph?

yeah 4 low would just be a really torquey race to like 30 MPH.

I shift out of 4WD before the 1-2 shift so it reverts to 2WD in 2nd gear. No wheelspin at launch and less drivetrain loss throughout the rest of the run.

You won't go anywhere fast in 4LO.

ok thnx, the reason i ask about the four wheel drive its because i raced last week n stayed peeling out in the same time it was awsome i burn out half of the 1/4 mile lol well anyways,,an as much as i warm up the tires i still stay peeling out so eather try the 4x4 or som buy slicks well this thursday im goign to give it a try.

That's what I was thinking too. 4 Lo won't get you anywhere fast. If you're stuck it will help.

Doesn't 91mph seem a little slow for 13.2. I run 94.49 Im only hitting 14.485 Im sure a supercharged hemi will go 13.2, but 91mph seems slow for that time. Id figure more like 99-102mph for that kinda of time.

I agree, that MPH doesn't nearly match the ET.....

What track did you go to? I have asked at two tracks and they won't let me race cars on my bike.
