Hemi is a 345 according to the majority of sites that list it.

Therefore 5.7L = 347.83533 c.i. and 4.7L = 286.81159 c.i.

That is of course assuming the liter figures Dodge uses are spot on. Not likely but I don't know their exact numbers. If it is indeed 345c.i. the the liter figure would be = 5.6535371 liters. This may be true as well if they rouded up the numbers.

I told you I was too tired to do the math but you made me break out the calculator anyway. Hrmph!

That's because the manufactures use a nice common number. Does a 5.9 come out to a 360?

Actually yes............5.9 liter = 360.0400886 cubic inchBubba_Hemi said:That's because the manufactures use a nice common number. Does a 5.9 come out to a 360?

Bubba_Hemi said:That may very well be the numbers for an exact C.I.... however how is it that a Chevy 350 is a 5.7?

All these numbers are rounded. My GM/Pontiac 350 5.7 in my TA is really 346 ci.

How'd you get that exact of a number for liter/cid?cphelan1 said:
