The drivers side door latch on my quad cab is sticking. I've taken if apart (partially) and it appears I may need to replace of bottom portion. Anyone else with similar problems? Thanks, Wally "FishnFed"

I don't think so. I've taken the door panel off, very carefully and without breaking anything, surprisingly. I took off the interior down rod and reset it making it have a shorter "throw". This worked and it seems to working fine. Good for another 100K miles. Thanks for the reply and an idea.

Best Regards, Wally "FishnFed"

I had same problem, I also carefully took the door panel off and adjusted the down rod attachment to make a 'shorter throw' as well, it has been working fine ever since, about 9 months. It took longer to take the door panel off than it took to make the small adjustment.
