Well im looking at where to place the psc1? Are most of you guys putting the psc1 inside or outside of your trucks. If you put it inside where did you put it and where did you run the wires out of your firewall because the PCM is on the pass side. I like how PH did his install under his cup holder in the cubby... but i would assume that he had to extend his wires.... depending on where he ran them out of the firewall. Is there anywhere on the pass side to get wires through bc when i looked i didnt see any place. The wiring diagram PH has on moe's forum is real simple just dont know where is the best place to leave the box and run the wires outside. I would think in the cab somewhere so you can leave your lap top in the truck without opening the hood to tweak it every time. Any thoughts guys? Once i figure out everything im going to be putting it on this friday to get ready for my cam install in 13 days!! I cant wait! Thanks in advance.

Nope, the wires were long enough to reach the PCM. I like the way Proudhemi installed his on the passenger side kick panel. I've done a couple of installs like that too.

PH
pics? that would be a real good place too. the wires would def be long enough. where did he run the wires through his fire wall? Im sure he will respond here shortly.

also anyone have a tune for a cam similar to the crane 216 on their psc1 that they could send me? Then i could fine tune off of that.

I didn't run mine through the firewall. Pull the plastic back where you are going to mount psc1 and use that hole and over the wheel well and your right there at the trucks computer.
huh? you mean you pulled your carpet back in the passenger footwell and there is a place to go through there? ellaborate please. lol

Pull back this panel and the insulation and there is a small hole there. Not sure maybe cable from antenae goes thru there.
thats a sweet idea. thanks tim. thats where im going to put mine. Since my cable is 6' my laptop can sit on my center console and still be long enough. Ok friday im going to install it. Shouldnt take more then an hour or two and a six pack :rck:

That's a pic of where I have mine mounted, I'll post up a few more. I pulled down the carpet a few inches and then drilled a hole in the firewall, installed a grommet and ran the wires from there. That's the best place I could come up with mounting it. You'd never know it was in there from just riding in the truck ,it's out of sight.
thanks... im sending you a PM

yea i know that but this is on the pass side... i dont want to extend the wires. i have tons of wires going through my firewall on my drivers side for all of my gadgets. i wouldnt want to drill into my pcm or a wire or something

If your too scared to drill thru your firewall then maybe you should leave the install to the pros. Come on man.......its not that hard. :WHT: You looking into it way too much.
