I have a 2002 Dodge Quad cab truck with a 5 speed diesel engine, and a 4.10 rear end.
I am currently having problems with its preformance, When I start out shifting, it does speed up or the torque is working right. Is the problem the fuel filter? injectors?
I can push the gas pedal all the way down adn I get nothing in response except poking along. Any help would be greatly apprciated.
I am going to change the fuel filter today (it has 20K on it, which I have figured out is way longer than most let theirs go on this forum).
Also my fuel gauge doesn't read properly, when I am getting close to a half pf a tank it is empty. What is the deal here? Can it be fixed?
I get approx 16 miles per gallon highway mileage. Is that good, what can be done to improve it?
Thanks!
