How much is a 4' lift going to cost me probaly? Body or suspension is fine whatever is cheaper. Also will 33' tires (not sure on width yet) fit on 01 1500 no lift stock rims?
not sure about lift price but yes 33s will fit fine, heres a pic of mine on 33s w/ stock suspension. they are 285/75/r16. I think I read somewhere where this was the largest tire recommended to run on the stock rims assuming you have 16x7 rims like I do.
Ok thanks for the info. Reason I was asking if that I plan to get 33' now and lift it when I can afford it as I really need tires now and can only afford one thing.
i dont have any pics yet, but i finally lifted my truck 3" with a rough country kit. $543 for new coils, add a leafs, lower control arms, new u bolts and shocks. i didnt even need to align it but i work in a shop with a lift. i put 33x12.50-r15 BFG all terrains on 8" wide rims with 3 3/4" backspacing. 285's will fit without rubbing lift or no lift. (i know because i did the same thing you want too and bouth my rims and tires before i bought the lift.)
right now my truck is being lifted 5.5 inches with a sk,y jacker lift and they make 3,4.5,5.5,6,7 inch kits im getting the 5.5 with 35 inch super swamper SSRs with 17x10 mickey thompson classic locks all installed and alignment included for 3400 and geting 4.56 yukon gears installed for 800so im making my truck fully trail ready but still a great ride on the road for $4200. it can be done alot cheaper than that though i think you can get the stadard 4.5 lift for around 900
for the last year i have been running 285/75/16 which is 33x11.50 and have no rubbing or any problems at all
