I'm very interested in this bumper, but of cource got a bunch of questions. Is this on a 1500 or 2500, will it fit a 2500. Can the factory hitch still be retained and used? How much weight can this bumper support, ie: towing, lifting if used as a jacking point. Is this a one off tube bumper or made by a company? What is the weight? Could/can the bumper support shackle mounts and shackles? Also shipping to 23462 Viginia Beach, VA.

Sorry for taking a day to respond. The mounts would need to be expanded to fit over a 2500 frame. My truck is a 1500. Factory hitch would not be able to be used with it as it is using the same mounting point. It is a one of a kind custom bumper so not sure what the exact rating is although I am told by some fab'ers that it is beefy and will pull just about anything.

That's fine, no rush. I'm the one who got the rear bumper and I'm trying to find pics of front bumpers but they are few and far between.

here is a picture of the bumper after changing up the top bars from previous set up.......yes I hand made it.

 

That's wicked! I'm kinda thinkin of dropping the whole front bumper and get a tube replacement after I get the lift on. Does anyone even make a full tube bumper replacement? Only requirement is that it has to be fully functional.
