i wanna say no because they are too heavy, but im still learning.
i know my ex boss has a powerwagon and and my buddy has a powerstroke too we are all stock and they cant hang with me at all... but who knows

stock for stock...I would say no...but you put a programmer on a diesel...they fly... go to streetfire.net and look at some of the races between modded diesels and modded cars or trucks...I couldn't believe I saw a souped up stang look like it was sittin still when it raced a diesel...

well I offered to run him once, he said he had things to do but maybe some other time. But he is still talkin shit. Oh and he said he had an 04 hemi and they were dogs!!

I say that the only thing he has is a man crush on the blue oval and a problem with Dodge. I say that you tell him to take it to the blacktop heads up and then Ram his Powerjoke into the ground. You'll own him dude, like Hemi450 said, theres only one way to find out.

I have been beat by 2 powerstrokes so far, so just be careful...I know the 2 I raced were modded more than this one, but that doesnt mean that you are going to walk all over him. Goo dluck with it and I hope to hear a nice kill story after the race!!

7.3 or 6.0?

My bosses 6.0 is a piece of shit. He has been through a couple turbos, and when her starts it up, he goes about 3 or 4 mph literaly with the peddle to the floor for about 1/4 mile.

Not familiar with the Excaliber program, but as has been said numerous times, only one way to find out.
Some guys get into the 13's with just a programmer on a diesel. But most guys run mid 14's to mid 15's with a programmer. If you are not faster than that, you probably won't win.
Line them up and see what happens.

i raced a 06 f350 king ranch with the 6.0l with an exhaust and sxt tuner on seting 2 (of 3) and he has 35"mud grapplers and it was ugly he prettymuch beat me by like 4-5 lengths after prob 2k feet from a dead stop....... all im gonna say is i love my truck but the next is a CTD

This character could also not be letting on as to all of his mods. My buddy has a 7.3 that is NASTY!!!

he will get you. i believe the fords are faster then the cummins stock for stock. the cummins stock against a hemi stock is a close race. if hes got a programmer and knows what hes doin...your in for a shake down. dont feel bad though...the only way hell win is if his truck doesnt fall apart on the starting line. so id still say you have a pretty good chance of winning by default

you are done for. simple enough. 6.0's are stupid fast with programmers.

I hate to say it, but he'll walk on you. I have the same mods as you, and my friend walked all over me with just a CAI and programmer. Well, he did more than walk on me, he pulled about 6 truck lengths on me up to 90 - and his 6.0 PSD is lifted with 35" mud tires and a long bed.

Stock vs stock, you'd barely beat him (4x4 vs 4x4). If you had Superchips and he was just stock, you'd beat him by several trucks lengths. But programmers do wonders for diesels!

If he wants to keep talking shit, tell him to race a Cummins with a programmer - it'll put that Blue Oval in its place.

Your truck is probably running mid to high 15's with your mods. The Ford is probably running very low 15's or mid to high 14's. Don't put any money on it, your gonna loose.

My buddy has a Banks kit in his Powerstroke and he got over 100 HP with just the programmer. I'm pretty sure it's the six gun tuner and then he has the Banks turbo and CAI and exhaust of some kind but I don't remember which kind. When he hammers down on that thing, all you hear is whistling turbos, a cloud of black smoke and he's gone!
