Can the power programmer 3 be used on more than one truck. I have a 99 ram with the 5.2 and have a buddy with the same year and engine, thought maybe we could split the cost. Also will the same one work for a 5.9.

Nope. It will only work on ONE vehicle at a time. It copies your VIN and stock program onto it and then reprograms it. It will not allow you to use it on another vehicle unless you replace your vehicle with the stock setting.

It's kind of like a marriage. Your programmer marries your truck and can not marry another truck unless it gets a devorce from yours. Then once it is single it can marry whoever it wants. (well whichever truck it is designed for)
