I usually use Turtle Wax Chrome Polish for my Chrome exhaust Tip, but I´m afraid of using it to polish the front grille that is made out of plastic but looks like chrome. What are your suggestions to keep it shining?

Meguiars #6 works pretty well. It's a cleaner wax so it will remove any residue or bugs left behind after washing. I agree on the towels. Make sure they are clean and contain mostly cotton.

I've been using Mothers Chrome Polish on my grille, front and rear bumpers. It seems to be doing fine for me. I havcen't had any problems yet.

Meguiar's is probably your best bet, plus, use a microfiber towel...it might be a lot pricier than a normal buffing rag, but they are worth it....I use them when I detail my truck and no scratches to this day!
