Hi and thanks in advance,

My dad is looking for the name or part number. The part is off of a 95 ram 360CI 4X4. It sits behind the passenger side valve cover, and has 2 vacume lines and a electrical connection that run to it. It looks like some sort of diafram with a soloniod on top it measures roughtly 3 inch by 3 inch. The soloniod says "VAC <---" , and has the numbers 4167 055 on it.

Please help me ASAP this is my parents only vehicle and this part melted down. :VHOT: :help:

not sure, but it sounds like it could be the vacuum control for the EGR valve. Look at the vacuum diagram under the hood. You should be able to figure out what it is using that.
