ok i am helping a friend that has a 99 4 cyl dakota the thing has interminitant starts issues. all relays have been checked, its getting spark, its getting fuel and its getting compression. the timing is correct (replaced cap rotor wires and plugs) it was running but now it will only crank. please any thoughts that you can provied would be a big help. any common problems that i should be looking for? possably a bad ground? or PCM?

I'd check grounds first. Intermittent would tell me that it's startin, catchin the ground in a good spot, then vibratin loose. Kyle

yeah that is what i was thinking. ill play with it and see what i can come up with.
