I was hoping someone had some pics of a 06 or newer 1500 4x4 with stock chrome wheels and larger a/t tires. like 285/70 or 33/12.50. Is this the largest tire that can be stuffed under them at stock height.

33" is the stock tire height. However on the 06-08 4x4's if you want to run 33/12.50 or 305/55's on the stock wheels you will need 1/4" spacers.

You can get 275/65/20 to fit with no modifications.

Yes you could get 285/70/17's.

I'm changing my 20's out to 17's. I just want a tire that is at least the same size or bigger

does any sponser price match on tires if so I'm looking for a set of bfg at ko LT285/70R17 the best price I've found is 882 shipped. if any one knows a better deal let me know please.
