alright i have a 2004 Neon R/T.

these are the mods i plan on doing for the summer...its nothing big, just a little something.

Cold air intake
Mopar Short Shifter
Bore out TB
Maybe suspension.

Some questions:
Any good/cheap sites or places out there for parts (besides ebay)?

Is the stock throttle body 52mm?

I was thinking about boring out the stock TB to 55mm (unless i can go larger), any other years/model's TB's fit onto mine? so i can just buy an extra one and have that bored out?

Suspension....how would the shocks hold up with just some eibach lowering springs? i know the mopar stage 3 suspension would probably be the way to go...any suggestions?

If i don't drop my car this summer would it be worth while to pick up some strut tower bars now to stiffen things up a little for summer? (until i can pick up stage 3 suspension next summer)

also, is there a way to bypass the speed limiter? right now i max my car out at 110-120mph, if i'm lucky, before the computer shuts the motor down. is there a way to bypass this without buying a performance computer?

what do you guys think about the Mopar euro style tail lights.... i know they're a little ricey, but not as ricey as altezza's.

ok i think thats about it. any input would be great

one more thing. i'm wondering if AEM's CAI for a SRT-4 would fit on my R/T ... cuz it looks like they don't make one exactly for my car since it has ABS i think.

Go with some prothane motor mount inserts-60-70 bucks. It will tighten up the front end some. A solid rear bobble strut if your not into comfort ( i found it a bit to loud for an every day driver really bad about 4 grand) Mine was home made, but soild is solid right!

For suspension maybe some good performance shocks and try it out. Me id never drop mine more than 1.5 inches with a spring, They will be more likelly to bottom out on rough road if you go more. But maybe thats just WV. HA!

Your t/b is a 52 mm necked down to a 49 mm if you Have a MTX 52 staight thru on an auto,You could save a few bucks by having your t/b bored to 55 mm straight thru
that will give you a noticeable difference. About 200 bucks to buy one.

I do not know any way to bypass the speed limiter, but I do know now why I dusted a few kids on the interstate in tricked out R/T's.The mopar performance computer was 265 bucks after tax at my local dealler but even stock I didnt cash out till 135 mph.
I still had a about 2 and a half grand to push it to the rev limit that was at about 73-7400 rpms (stock ACR). The mopar computer will raise rev limit in 1st to 4th to around 7600-7800 rpms (DOHC motor) fifth gear is now unlimited no rev limit no speed limit!!
I have no trouble getting 115-120 in 4th I dont runn it up like that often, not in 4th gear anyhow.

Personally I see no rice in clear euro tail lights. If you want to be different shave the both tail lights and put you some in the bumper Corvette style would be different and probablly one of a kind.I gave that a thought for a while till the euro's came along for 100 like new!

www.HOWELLAUTOMOTIVE.com, They are Neon Specialists, They build them for SEMA,NOPI,CAR & DRIVER, ect. I drove there to KEYSER WV some 2 1/2 hour drive
then I was like a kid in a Candy store. LATER you got my 2 cents. GOOD LUCK! LATER

I don't know from a personal stand point but I don't think the SRT-4 intake will work on a R/T. The SRT-4 intake is long and has to go back to the turbo, under the cowl at the firewall. The R/T intake just goes to the TB and is real short compared to the SRT-4. You could probably modify the intake and make it work but why? If they make one for your car get that. Modern Performance has one that doen't say anything about ABS. I assume you have a magnum 2.0 since it is a R/T.
