Performance coil for the 5.7L HEMI

so has anyone heard about a performance ignition coild for the 5.7L HEMI? Im definitely interested. I just bought some Taylor Thundervolt 10.4MM wires and Champion Iridium plugs but dont think a factory coil will have enough umph to keep up with those plugs and wires...

from what i've heard people do not like the iridiums very much and they even throw a code, as far as the coil, the hemi's have a coil packfor each individual cylander and you won't find a better setup than that.
i yanked my iridiums out last weekend. they were fine (no codes) from Mar thru June, then started popping codes like p2302,304,2305,2308, etc...all secondary circuits on the coil packs. I put NGK 5306s (copper core) back in and no codes have popped, i even kept my shorty plug wires.......so i dont think the shorties caused the issue....just a little FYI for you before you go through the hassle of changing plugs (my dad had the same issues on his hemi durango...and he was running stock plug wires).......i would recommend get the ngk 5306s or the 4306s if you will be running nitrous
another note of interest...if you reference the dodge service manual.....it states that plug wires should have at least 50 ohms resistance per inch, not more than 250 ohms resistance per inch. spark plugs ALSO need a certain resistance to keep our computers happy (no codes).....hence the reason the iridiums (or potentially the shorty wires) could cause codes. If your PCM starts reading too small or too large of resistance...you oculd pop codes.....or operate outside of the boundaries that the coil packs were meant to operate. Just food for though.....
Good Advice!

To increase spark energy, I bought a Plasma booster from Ignition Solutions. They say it will increase the spark energy by 4X's.
Yes, It doesn't create any additional heat. It produces a longer, higher amperage, multiple spark to help burn any unspent fuel in the combustion chamber, thus creating more hp.
I had iridiums in two trucks with over 20000 miles of driving no codes ever. I had no problems. First truck was a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 QuadCab Hemi 4x4 shortbed SLT. Second truck was a 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 QuadCab Hemi 4x4 shortbed Laramie. Both trucks had superchips programmers too.
About 2000 miles so far on my Iridiums, no codes so far...Honestly can't really tell a difference over the stock Champion's though

i hear you man....there are a bunch of folks running iridiums with no issues, but myself and dad have had problems, along with other people on this forum.....some trucks like them, some dont! luck of the draw i guess.....
Installed bosch platinum 2 today--was a peta as reported many times before. Seems to idle better.

Did you buy the plasma booster a while ago when it was hem ispecific, or did you buy the mustang part# that is supposed to work on our trucks?? I am interested in this mod as well.
