I'm changing my gear oil to Amsoil, and ordered a rattle-can of matching paint from the dealer. I thought it might look cool to color match my diff covers. What do ya'll think. BTW it's Silver. If it looks good I might even do the ugly toolbox!

Good idea man.. I bought a factory color matched can of paint from an auto paint store, and have had fun painting my interior pieces. I'd like to do the same thing sometime when I change the oil.

I got one coat on em. I'll spray another on later, and install tonight. I'll take pics.

Took some pics of the paint job. It looks great. Pics are in my gallery, but they might be pending still. I recommend anyone doing a diff fluid change to do this. It's cheap, easy, and makes the undercarriage stand out.

I have reusable gaskets on my 2500, but not sure about 1500s. Permatex makes liquid gasket for cheap at any auto parts store. You could also buy new from the stealer, uh I mean dealer.
