painted wheels srt8

Would appreciate any opinions on the following. I own a magnum black srt8 with the stock rims. The only thing I don't like is the beige paint they have used in between the 5 spokes (polished aluminum). I am think of having them done in the body colour. I would prefer to have them chromed, but believe it or not no one up here seems to handle this type of work. Any thoughts greatly appreciated. Dale...Toronto Canada

There's a few chrome plating shops in Toronto, took me 2 seconds to do a quick search.

Thanks. But if it the same ones that I tried...yes they do chroming of part, BUT not wheels. Dale

It worth a try to check it out.

You can also hit some performance shops and see who they deal with for chroming. When I get a chance I'll ask a few of my car buddies on where to go for chroming, I'll keep in touch.

painted wheels

call west coast wheel company they can get your wheels chrome. they did mine and i love them!

I've seen one on here that has chromed wheels. It looks sweet. Thats how it should've been from the factory.

Have you considered powder coating? Much more durable than paint and still looks great!

That would be mine.....

Go for the Chrome,its worth the money.I wish I could tell you where to get them done but they were on the car when I got it.Option B is to buy the SRT repros in Chrome.I think they are about 1k for the set.
