1997 Dodge Teal.
Paint is starting to peel, primarily hood.

I have read some posts that talk about Mopar crediting 300.00 if you have the paint repaired. Is there some way to see if your vehicle has already been "credited"? I assume the go by vin # in some big database.

What are the exact details? You get it fixed, bring them the receipt, and they cut you a check? Anything else I need to know?

Truck has 179K. It looks like he hunted, as there are scratches all the way down the side. Body has some dents and dings that I can straighten and deliver to the local Earl Scheib, or Maaco. The thought of having Mopar reiburse me to have it painted, straight and one color is awful appealing.

Thanks in advance.

Well, the more I read, it seems like an isolated incident where a guy was able to convince the dealer to kick back the 300.00

Seems like the best bet at this point would be th prep the hell out of it myself, and have it sprayed at Earl Scheib for 300.00....
