I see you have done both methods , which do you prefer assuming a spring shop does the work, so leave out difficulty. Which rides better and which drops it better and if you leave the overload spring and remove the mid leaf can you still haul some load in the bed without the a$$ on the ground. Looking for a level drop but gain a better ride than stock..

really to do the middle leaf removal trick new shorter shocks or extensions need to be used as well as much shorter bumpstops.........the overload removal is the best bang for no buck Ive found so far........I like both methods fine but a little more skill and work is involved with the middle leaf removal.

What would happen if you had a stock truck, and removd those two spring together?
Would it ride o.k.? and how much would the drop be?
